scary but true

Everyone with kids knows this feeling…

Reshared post from +Bill Gross

From the "fingers" of babes…

"This past summer, I gathered a group of 20 babies between the ages of 14 and 20 months. I handed each one a BlackBerry. No sooner had the babies grasped the phones than they swiped their little fingers across the screens as if they were iPhones, seemingly expecting the screens to come to life. It appears that a whole new generation is being primed to navigate the world of electronics in a ritualized, Apple-approved way." – Martin Lindstrom in NYT

My young son a few years ago couldn't figure out why the TV wasn't a touchscreen. I've heard of babies taking pictures in a book and trying to pinch and zoom them with their fingers. Have you ever seen this?

It'll be interesting to see what their reaction to all of this technology will be like. I think we're addicted to it because we grew up without it. For our kids it'll be like watching tv, they wont think of it in the way that we do.
